Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 250gm pumpkin


  • 3 dry red chillies


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp poppy seed


  • 1 tsp hing


  • 1 tsp Salt to taste


  • 1 cup coriander


  • 1 tsp groundnut powder

Directions

  • Pressure cook the pumpkin with 1tsp salt for 3-4 whistles.
  • Once cooked, peel the pumpkin and cut in cubes.
  • In kadai add 3 tsp of oil, when oil is heated add mustard seeds with some curry leaves and red dry chillies
  • Add 1 tsp of hing and poppy seed
  • Once poppy seeds are brown add the cut pumpkin and mix well
  • Add salt and groundnut powder and cover with lid
  • Garnish it with coriander
  • Optional: add curd to the sabji to make it like raita
